About Me

As a kid, I found myself a natural caregiver who was involved with a lot of community outreach and education. Partially because I grew up in church and partly because my mom worked for a local non-profit centered around the health and wellness of our environment. Starting out in these fields gave me a love for teaching and being out in the community. Shortly after high school, I started going to college for early childhood development and art therapy. After a few years of pursing this, living overseas, and gaining more experience in the education environment, I decided something was missing.

Fast forward to 2019: I moved to Michigan and started over, career wise. I was hired on as a part-time care aid at a local facility and then worked with a few clients one on one. Eventually, I earned my Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) through the facility and moved on to providing care In-Home. This is where I gained even more knowledge and experience on how to provide person centered care, along with maintaining personal safety and promoting independence.

I eventually moved out of my role as an In-Home care aid and into roles such as: care coordinator, quality assurance manager, and CPR trainer. I am now currently enrolled at Lake Michigan College in both the nursing and phlebotomy technician programs.

After these last 5 years, I can say that I am super grateful I made the change for myself. I fall in love with the healthcare field more and more every day. I have a desire to reach others with person centered care that is affordable to them, that promotes their independence as they age in place, and offers a beacon of hope during confusing times.

I want to use my talents and knowledge I've been gifted with to help others by:

  • Offering specific trainings based on the personal needs.

  • Teaching proper transfer techniques

  • Supporting care takers and family members as they navigate the Do's and Don't's of In-Home care.

  • Above all else maintain a safe, comfortable environment for anyone who is aging at home and wants to stay at home
